This page explains what happens to information when you read My Beacon. The short version: we do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not ask you for personal information.

What we collect

• No analytics, no ads. The site does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels or social media widgets.
• No cookies for readers. Reading the site does not set cookies. Cookies are only used when site editors log in to manage the site.
• Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting server and the network service that protects and delivers the site keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used for security and keeping the site running, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
• Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it only to reply and do not add you to any list.

Links to other sites

Guides link to official sources and, in a few phone and data guides, to Cellesim, an eSIM store run by the same team behind this site. When you follow a link to another website, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from an email exchange, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected].

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
